What FinLab collects

FinLab does not create accounts, capture email or store the figures you enter. Every calculator runs in your browser, and your inputs are never sent to or stored by FinLab.

Shared links

A scenario link encodes the numbers and settings you choose in the URL. It does not include your name or email.

Advertising

FinLab shows ads through Google AdSense to keep the calculators free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and personalise those ads based on your visits to this and other sites, which can involve your IP address, device and browsing data. This is collected by Google, not FinLab — FinLab does not receive or store it, and it is not linked to anything you type into a calculator.

Privacy Act 2020

FinLab itself holds no personal information about you, so there is nothing for FinLab to correct or delete on your behalf. Data collected by Google for advertising is governed by Google's own policies linked above.
